Since 2005 : Contract Professor in Aegean Archaeology in the Polytechnic of Bari, Architectural Department.

Since 2009 : PhD Candidate in Minoan Archaeology at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCLouvain – Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium).
2006 : PhD in Sciences of Antiquities at the University of Udine (Italy). Title of the PhD dissertation: Produzioni ceramiche Tardo Minoico I ad Haghia Triada nel contesto della Creta centro-meridionale (supervisors : Dr. Prof. V. La Rosa and Dr. Prof. E. Borgna).
2003 : Master of Arts, Aegean Prehistory and Protohistory at the Italian School of Archaeology at Athens (Greece).
1998 : Bachelor of Arts, Classical Studies at the University of Catania (Italy).
Research topics
Minoan pottery of Neopalatial period (chronology and systems of production, distribution and consumption), Minoan architecture and rituals;
Sicilian Copper and Early Bronze Age cultures and their relations with Aegean and Malta in the III millennium a.C.;
Dynamics of Human occupation in Ippari and Dirillo valley (South-East Sicily) in Prehistory and Antiquity.
Field projects
Since 1996 : Responsible for the study and final edition of the Neopalatial pottery from the excavations carried out at Haghia Triada from 1977 to 2012 (dir. Prof. V. La Rosa, then Prof. P. Militello since 2014).
Since 2004 : Responsible for the study and final edition of Neopalatial pottery of the project Prospection de la plaine de Mallia (dir. Dr. S. Müller, CNRS-EfA).
Since 2011 : Responsible for the study and final edition of Neopalatial pottery from the excavations carried out at the Minoan site of Kannià near Mitropolis (dir. Prof. N. Cucuzza).
Since 2015 : Responsible for the final edition of La Rosa’s excavations at Haghia Triada from 1978 to 1996.
Since 2016 : Archaeologist at the prehistoric site (III-II mill. a.C.) of Calaforno (Sicily) within the team directed directed by the University of Catania (prof. P. Militello) and Sovrintendenza BB.CC.AA. of Ragusa (dott. S. Scerra).
